Red Storm leaves for World Championships!
Red Storm was featured on WZZM 13 TV as the team departed for the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri.
Kentwood Competition Wrap-up
This year we hosted our 3rd FIRST Robotics Competition District Event. It was one of the best running ones yet. Thanks to everyone on the planning committee and all of the volunteers who helped make this event hum along.
We were featured in a few news outlets, M-live had an article. Fox 17 has some coverage. We were also featured on the front page of the local Advance.
After qualification our team was ranked 25th among some pretty heavy competition. We were then selected as the 2nd pick of the 8th alliance. Unfortunately we were eliminated in the quarterfinals by the eventual event winners, That One Team, Stryke Force and The Iron Giants.
FTC Teams interviewed
On Shelley Irwin’s morning show on WGVU Radio, Red Storm White, Red and Blue team members were on to talk about robotics and the upcoming Kentwood FTC Qualifier held at the East Kentwood Freshman Campus.
