Middle school FTC Informational Meeting

Kentwood Middle School Students:

It is almost the start of the middle school robotics season for Red Storm Robotics. Come build robots with us!

There will be an information meeting for students and parents on Thursday August 26th, 6:30pm-8pm at the EK Freshman Campus Robotics Build Space (entrance at the back of the building). This will be an evening of hands-on fun for students, and valuable information about the robotics season for the parents. We will cap off the event with ice cream sundaes for all! Please bring face masks for our indoor activities, as per KPS guidelines.

Can’t make Thursday’s meeting, but still interested? Please email trista.vandervoord@redstormrobotics.com or call 616-901-1095 for further details.

Red Storm Summer Sessions

Starting on Thursday June 7th, we will have weekly Robotics Summer Sessions for both FRC and FTC teams, which encompass grades 6 through 12.

These sessions will comprise of skill building sessions, so when the competition seasons begin the student team members can be ready to “hit the ground running” with the tools and skills needed to make it a fun, enjoyable and successful build season.

Come join us at our Build Space in the East Kentwood Freshman campus.  (See the google map for location in the building–it is best to enter the build space from the outside door)

Rover Ruckus Kick Off

On September 9th, Red Storm FTC will be meeting at our new build space at 8:20am, and leaving shortly thereafter for GVSU.  There we will have chassis build workshops and watch this year’s challenge streamed across the world at the same time.

We plan on being back to our build space around 3:30pm.
